On this video made especially for Mac OS users, I show some cool techniques to share video with a virtual webcam using CamTwist Software. I also discuss how to improve sound for videos fed through a virtual camera by turning off the automatic audio fixing and noise reducing features in zoom called "Turn on original sound". I notice skype has the same problem when feeding a video through a webcam, but maybe you can figure out how to remove "auto sound-fixing" on that one.
Using desktop share is a decent option too, and now the playback seems better to me in the new versions of zoom. I do like how desktop share allows you to talk over the video easily, because with camtwist, the audio feeds are very complicated using soundflower. But it can work! You can use garage band to allow a mic feed to come through simultaneously with your video sound, all routed into soundflower, and you can independently mute your mic inside garageband.

Incredible tutorial and tips! I installed the Camtwist successfully. I've been researching online to look for soundflower and reading comments its a bit tricky. Im worried to install that plugin. Maybe you can do a tutorial on soundflower? Anyhow, love your videos and more of them you'll bound to get to 100k subs in a few months!! =) Thanks.

When I try to use my camtwist video in Zoom it is really blurry. Why is that? My facetime camera is fine but using camtwist with zoom creates a really blurry video. Can you help me. Your video is so crisp and clear. I do not use an external camera but for all of my other applications camtwist is not blurry

When I upgraded zoom today it stopped recognizing my virtual cams. It still sees my virtual audio mic but no virtual video. Are you using the latest version of zoom? The one that came out today?
