An early love of mathematics led Cynthia Barnhart into engineering, where she now develops new models and algorithms around optimization methods for large-scale transportation and logistics problems. Professor Barnhart is a former codirector of both the Center for Transportation and Logistics and the Operations Research Center; she currently serves as director of Transportation@MIT and as associate dean for the School of Engineering.

This is my kind of ASMR. The kind that takes you back as a kid when you first experienced it at school in the library, or a talk show interview on old cable tv, or when a friend whispered something in your ear, or a teacher with a really soft voice and you just knew that it was super enjoyable, relaxing, and made you sleepy and you wondered if everybody else did this too.
