this has a totally different vibe from the original.
it feels like you're escaping from a war ridden land into a mystical place.
you're discovered by the local faefolk and given a wonderful place to live and finally breathe. you feel like you've escaped reality and you dance the days away and listen to stories told around a blazing bonfire. good things dont last forever though; soon you're arguing with the people of the forest and before you can say goodbye to the littles you wove flowercrowns with you're outcasted. you run, further and further with tears streaming down your cheeks. you don't look back and soon you're lost. you hear a rustling in the bushes and it goes black. you awake to the sea rocking you like a babe on a midsummers night, the smell of salt and rum in the air, strong and tantalizing. you can hear the lively song and dance of the sailors as they near port. you join them as the ship is unloaded, and you walk into a new day. you realize that you don't belong anywhere. you realize the sea calls to you, but the townsfolk's lively cheer holds you back. you soon accept that you won't ever be able to stay in one place. you are saddened, watching little children run by like those in the forest. soon some approach you. you begin to tell them the stories of your travels, enveloping them in adventures so fantastical they sound to be nothing more than fairytales. as you look upon their wonderous eyes, you know what you must do. it's what you've been meant to do all along. you ssay goodbye to the children and board the nearest ship. you join the sailor's at night when spirits were high, doing your part during even the most trecherous storms. you join their family. you have found your place. but every time you make port, you make sure to take the time to enchant the lives of the children with your stories of adventure.

Imagine: You’re a thief in the olden times of France (early 1700‘s). You make a daring mission with a bunch of friends to steal the Queen’s jewels, so you put on your mask (covers the top half of your face, leaving half of your cheeks, lips and chin out). But the night you sneak in, the dead of night, you hear footsteps leading you toward the kitchen while your friends lounge off stealthily to find the jewels. You decide to take a peak, instead of following suit, at who could possibly be awake and in the kitchen no less. You see a gorgeous prince/ss quietly rummaging through a baked goods section of the large kitchen, quite possibly an urge for a midnight snack. You panic and as you move to leave, you bump into the wall that lead to your exit, grunting at the pain in your head. Startling the prince/ss, you make them look at the source of noise, being you. They get even more scared than you and grab their closest weapon (a ladle) and holds it out in front of them. You stare at each other in shock, looking at the ladle then back at each other. You both stutter asking each other who each other are and what you both are doing. You both blush and laugh/giggle at the jinx before looking up to hearing alarms ringing throughout the buildings. You gaze back down at them before taking a bow and winking, saying ‘I’m the thief of your night, my prince/ss’ then running through the halls. You hear their shouting behind you but you jump out of the window, you and your friends snuck in through, before you could hear any other word apart from ‘Wait!’. You and your friends meet up together and they ask where you were. You respond with a cheeky grin before saying ‘Just got caught up in a royal beauty’. You all leave and bid goodbye, the blaring alarms and sirens chasing you, using parkour and other sneaky tactics to get away, all the while your heart is thumping heavily in your chest and your heated blush hasn’t worn off. You brush it off to the rush of adrenaline but you can’t get the prince/ss out of your thoughts. You arrive to your house off to the outskirts of the city, smiling sweetly to thoughts of you returning but this time, with the intent of stealing a heart. Ok, so maybe it wasn’t just the adrenaline rush......😉
