This series was very intense and I couldn’t stop watching it. I literally binged it in one day. The story is well written and it tackles many societal issues. Would love to see more shows like this.

I was shocked at her own mothers behavior- she sees her daughter with a broken neck and she believes some strangers over her own daughter- this would Never happen in my family

I’m completely in love with this series! It tackles so many important societal issues in our modern world, specifically in Jordan. Bullying, harassement, abuse, and the horrendous acts committed in the name of honor…. All were beautifully represented in this short series! As a Palestinian-Jordanian woman myself, I feel proud to see these problems being presented so clearly in a series created and directed by beautiful, passionate women who have successfully managed to represent just a glimpse of things women go through on a daily basis.

Arabic language is beautiful and soothing to hear. It’s a shame Hollywood tainted it for decades, poisons its image and makes it all about screaming suicide bombers. Thanks Netflix, for bring in the much needed diversity and proper representation.

Ah, we usually don't see much Arabic content as Indians. It is refreshing to see, as it does not feel stereotypically middle-eastern, but again, the trailer kinda predicts it.

I hate when people say stuff like, “If you do what they did to you, you’re just as bad as them”. That’s so frustratingly WRONG! The three girls (Layan, Rania, and Ruqayya) bullied Mariam out of pure SPITE. They did it because they were BAD people. But when Mariam did all of those things to get back at them, she did it because of what THEY did to HER; out of frustration at the fact that they destroyed her life and got away with it! The two are not equivalent by any means! The three girls bullied her for no reason. But Mariam had every reason and every right to punish them for what they did to her, seeing as no one else actually cared AT ALL about any of the suffering she went through (not even her so-called “friends”) or try to enact any justice. They didn’t respect her enough to leave her alone and not make her life a living hell, they deserve every bit of what came to them. Don’t try to destroy someone and expect not to get the same treatment in return.

I feel so bad for the girls and they don't deserve it but I hate how the mc get demonised in this, her life was ruined because of false rumors about assualt, almost got killed, left alone by her best friend, then made fun of her mental illness and relationship with her mother and left one by her best Friends (again), again I'm not justifying the mc's actions but we all know damn well that even if they stopped bullying the mc they will continue ruining someone elses lifes. Also her friends are just as guilty, they both knew what she did but kept their mouth shut, they didn't helped her when she got bullied and now switch side and pretend to be the "good" people

Very interesting series. At first I thought I was watching a series of teenage girls and harassment, but later we find out that this series deals with the importance of family honor in the East. It's something horrible and real, so I invite people to watch.

We need a second season… we were left at a cliffhanger(was she truly killed? Or was her bf killed , or did her brother miss?) A second season is needed to see what happens at the school after the damage was done , and of course whether mariam will be caught for what she has done …
