i can proudly say i used this to dance with my wife at our wedding. it was magical.
damn did not expect to get 1k likes lol, but to give context on how me and my wife used this song, she created an imovie compiled of our baby pictures and old pictures of us thru out the years of our relationship in which i connected to 2 of the TVs that were at our wedding venue. the imovie lasted for about 4:30 minutes which is around the same time this song transitions and as the song transitions into that synth sound with the sound of a saw, thatās when we walked out from these two double doors to the middle of the venue and began slow dancing as soon as frank ocean starts singing. and like i said, it. was. MAGICAL.

I heard the cover by itself when Frank first released it on his Tumblr and it's one of my favorite tracks of all time. This extended version's intro augments and contextualizes the cover's haunting poignancy in such a beautifully lush and immersive way, as to somehow improve upon an already perfect performance and piece of art. This patience, this willingness to experiment and explore, this artistry and detail are what make Frank a once-in-a-generation artist and icon.

My first boyfriend introduced me to this song, although we were both avid frank ocean fans i never knew frank covered this song. I cannot listen to it without being reminded of him. We broke up 2 months ago and I still think about him everyday, I regret not fighting for him when we ended but whatās the point if the other person isnāt putting in any effort. Not a day goes by where I donāt feel a sudden urge of sadness over the fact that he isnāt in my life anymore, and the painful part of it is that he is feeling the same way but over another girl. Frank has helped me with the pain, he saved my life, I love you.
