I sometimes like to think that this is all a dream and I’ll wake up back in 2013 on day. The 2010s were really special, everything was party-based and care free, pop was EDM-centric, touch screen phones were still relatively new, social media was still in its infancy, I remember materialistic things being super cheap, and everything was just chill. Man I miss it.

In 2013, I was 19 years old.... wow. This video brings me back to club nights as a young guy just experiencing it for the first time. Drunk in the bathroom with the homies just laughing about shit when one of your favourite songs starts playing muffled sound in the background. Millennial music with the EDM pop explosion. Summer music festivals. Krewella. Avicii. Damn. I'm in my feels. Fwiw I still do fun stuff like this right now but the shine that's glossed over life when you're young just ain't there anymore. There's something unique about the invincibility of being late teens/early 20s. If you're reading this, cherish every moment and don't waste it.
