I can so relate to being more and more self sufficient. But I had to give up my dream. It was too much for a single 66 year old woman… 2.5 acres and found out I had lymphoma, ( blood cancer). No wonder I had no energy! I did my best for 3 years but in the end I just had to sell up. They were the best 3 years of my life tho. I miss it greatly. I was in country Tasmania. Loved it so deeply.

Looking forward to seeing your ideas for small spaces. I live in New Zealand and love growing things that I can use from my 200sqm garden space. I have bees and chickens in that space as well, so it's really important that I can squeeze as much as I can out of the space. We currently have 30+ fruit trees on the site and we were overwhelmed with our fruit production this year. The freezer is full and I've had to learn how to preserve. Its a fascinating, wonderful and rewarding journey. I'm hoping to get back out into the garden to share more very soon. Looking forward to watching what you have to share. 🥰

Glad your eye surgery worked out so well. I'd never heard of implantable corrective lens. I get so much out of your channel, learning about plants and how to build garden related items. I live in a condo so usually garden in large pots on my deck. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next. Thanks, from the States.

Lovely! I think it's an excellent idea to focus in on the smaller spaces too. I rented houses for most of my life, some with gardens, most with very little and the last place before I was able to buy a house was literally a doorstep crammed with pots of herbs, roses and lavender. My garden now is about the same as Lovely Greens and is a lot of work but I absolutely love it and I'm grateful every day; it's a blessing😻🙏I'd also benefit from some ideas for smaller areas and container and greenhouse growing X

has it really been 3 years since you moved ? how time have flown. I remember the small garden and the plans to move. I have a small garden , and I grow fruit, vegetables and flowers. I also raise rabbits for fertilizer and meat. the chickens might return as my 24 year son keep pushing. glasses are a pain in the garden but I need mine because they turn themselves to sunglasses.

As a small garden owner I am excited to see your ideas on getting the most food production from a small space! It would be really helpful if this could include something about planning your space so that you can harvest and use little and often throughout the season and then how to store the remaining produce at the end of the season.

A few months ago I offered to move some paving slabs behind the shed for my elderly parents.. four months later I've been out in the garden every day since; I've built a beautiful rockery; I've grown pepper plants from seed and planted maybe a hundred different shrubs, fruit trees and herbs.
I've become obsessed with increasing my knowledge on gardening and so appreciative of plants in general. When I go to the park or even just see lawns and gardens I'm awed at the possibilities.
So thank you, I appreciate your channel.

I am so glad you’re healing well and I will pray for continued healing for you.❤. I have enjoyed your videos for quite awhile now, I can’t even remember how many years I’ve been watching you. I’m always astounded my your work ethic, which is quite evident by the beauty of your gardens. I will continue to watch and even though I’m not challenged by a small area to garden I’m sure I will still learn something useful. Have a fantastic week! TeresaSue

I would like to hear about pest control. Where I am at we have issues with insects that bore into the base of out squash plants. My understanding is they then go into the soil to come out the next year. It is annoying and could use help dealing with it.
Glad you were able to get something positive done with your eyes. Sounds like you had the PRK procedure done, I did that in 2008 but had to get glasses again last year. PRK takes time to heal and stabilize compared to LASIK which is why i assumed you got it based on your description. Regardless of what procedure you had done, enjoy it as I certainly did.

I had laser eye surgery in my late 20s and it was life changing. It still feels miraculous! Glad you're doing well and can't wait to see more from the garden
