June 16th, 1987. I was at my senior prom and danced with a boy who I didnāt like. I think that his name was Nathan or Brendon, I donāt really know. During the slow-jam section of the night, this song played and I looked into his eyes and smiled as danced. He was a nice boy, and we talked for a while after that but soon parted ways after high school ended and we both went off into our respective colleges. We met up one more time before the second semester of sophomore year of college to watch The Outsiders movie and we had fun. This song will always have a special place in my heart for that moment. Music By Blanks is by far the BEST 80s band, no question!

As someone who vehemently, with a passion, loves the 80s music, the more I listen to this, the more it gives the 80s vibe that the original 80s songs give. The warmth, the nostalgia, the setting of the period, the booming economies everywhere, peace time, prosperity, and people just enjoying the era to the fullest. The rise of Jackie Chan, the rise of the second wave of beautiful music............ all of it. Should've included a saxophone solo or ad-libs to fully complete the 80s setting, ala John Parr.
