The camcorder serves as a filter and allows imagination to roam freely. Everything is imagination through the camcorder.
Reality resumes when you see their wounds and tattered clothes.
In the end, the two of them are seen ascending to a better place through the camcorder, while they are eradicated in reality.

IU wrote and Produced this MV. She is someone you should get to know, she is the most influential kpop artist. And she one of the very best vocalist in the world today. In fact Rolling Stone Magazine last January added her to their list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time. But theirs more. In 2018 The New York Times did an article on how music influences culture. The had a list of the top 25 most influential artist in the world. IU was listed 9th on that that list.
She debute at 15 in 2008. After auditioning when she was 13 and being rejected 20 times. And at 13 she continued to efforts. Then she was scammed out of money by a fraud claiming to be with an agency and promising her the world. Her grandmother put up her life saving only to be scammed out of it. Then she was signed by a small agency and debuted 10 months later where she was jeered and called a pig. Her debut song was actually a very beautiful song but the subject matter didn't go over well. It was about the end of a relationship, which kpop fans were not interested in hearing from a 15 year old.
She became a National Star in 2010 when 2 songs reached #1. She also started her acting career with a supporting role in the kdrama Dream High. Since then she has dominated the charts in Korea with over 32 #1 hits twice the number of anyother artist in Korea. With this release she ties BTS with the most songs debuting at #1. And she is the only female artist to ever have a song debut at #1.
She took control of her music in 2013. Since then she writes much of her songs, also composed and produces then.
And she has becoming a major acting star in Korea and internationally. Having recieved a nomination for Vest Actress at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

IU's character is deaf/ mute and these characters blind in one eye. The "perfect" world where they are not beat up and their disabilities seem to disappear is seen only through the camera.

What a treat! Their chemistry is off the charts. IU's voice is so soothing. She is so amazing. You have actually just witnessed 2 of the top artists in Korea. Both IU & V are singers, actors, the both play a variety of instruments and the write & produce their own music. Also, you should know that BTS also used the mountain of clothes in their video Spring Day. It was jaw dropping learning that It has historical significance to the people of Korea of past tragedy's.

Thank you for the reaction video. I loved this as well, and it was extremely well acted. V, or Kim Taehyung of BTS is my favorite artist, and he has a beautiful baritone voice as well. This was my first IU song and her voice is ethereal. The Director filmed "Concrete Utopia", and he received an award for that movie.

The male actor was V from the group BTS, biggest pop group in the world. He showed up to do this video one week before being inducted into the army.
