Céline Dion is a global icon. She is one of the greatest vocalists and most legendary performers ever. She rose up from a very modest/humble background, with a family of musicians. After achieving worldwide success in numerous languages and breaking sales records with her albums in the 80s and 90s, she then pioneered the modern Las Vegas residency by having a Colosseum built for her... where she had the two most successful residencies in Vegas history. Other than having one of the most powerful voices in music history, what sets Céline Dion apart from the rest is her amazing personality, her innately humble nature, and she never says a negative thing about another artist/person or stirs drama. She is pure class and in a league of her own. Her achievements are countless... the greatest-selling French album of all time, two of the biggest-selling English albums of all time, the biggest movie theme song of all time from Titanic, multiple Grammys, multiple Oscars (for "Beauty and the Beast" and"My Heart Will Go On"), legendary collaborations (with Andrea Bocelli, Luciana Pavorotti, Barbra Streisand, Carole King, the BeeGees, Jean-Jacques Goldman, and so on...), an honorary doctorate in Music from Berklee, the Legion of Honor from the French president for sharing the French language all over the world, and countless power ballads that qualify as some of the hardest songs to sing ever ("It's All Coming Back To Me Now", "I Surrender", "All By Myself", "Because You Loved Me", "Think Twice", "Where Does My Heart Beat Now", "To Love You More", "Tell Him", "Pour que tu m'aimes encore", etc.) Her impact hasn't been in everyone's face since streaming and social media took over the music industry while she chose to focus on her family and live performances.
