Slowly she stares out into the distance, was it all really over? A tear rolls down her cheek slowly, leaving a streak in its wake. She really had failed this time and there was no turning back she thinks as she watches them walk away, knowing that no matter what she did it would never repair the hole she had just tore. The clock of life falters for a moment as she stands there clutching her heart and sobbing uncontrollably, everything was over, did anything ever matter? Was there a point to all this? She falls to her knees, truly a pitiful site, curling up in shame and greif, unaware of the attention she was drawing. Crowds of nameless faces , blurred and warped, they all point and whisper and question and gesture, but she no longer cares. All she wants is to escape.

Wandering through an empty and abandoned castle, you hear a piano in the distance.. You listen carefully.. It was out of tune, but,, oddly enough, you feel safe, despite the shadows growing in every corner. Suddenly, a pit grows in your stomach. You feel as if you're being watched.. you look around, but see nothing..
You shrug it off and continued forward. The deeper you went, the more unease settled in your gut.. You pick up the pace..
The old piano seemed to begin to disorientate and warp.. You start shaking..
You turn around and is face to face with a being. You fall back, scared. It looked like you.. but something was off.. It looked malnourished and its eyes were blood shot. It has an oddly wide smile and its eyes were small. It's skin was pale and veiny.
You tried to scream..
Nothing happened.
You cried for help..
no one came..
You tried to move..
Nothing Happened.
You blink...
It's gone.. Relief flooded your body. You get back to your feet and look around. a disembodied voice could be heard.

You continued, and the voice spoke again.
* Nothing is real.
You continued, until you tripped and fell. You fell for quite some time.. It seemed like an eternity. When you finally hit the ground, you felt nothing. You get up and look around. and you were in a garden. A garden with dying plants and wilting flowers. Except.. one.
A singular white rose was there in front of you. You reach out to touch it, and a thorn pricked your finger. You wince and looked at your finger. A single drop of blood trickled off your finger and down onto the flower. When the drop of blood fell upon it, it slowly started to wilt. You frown and look around again.
You see the Other you again.. It seemed to be very.. unhappy.
"You killed it."
You heard it say. It sounded like you, but unfamiliar.
* how?
You ask
You blink and it appears in front of you. Smiling..
A laugh could be heard. one laugh grew into two laughs. the 2 became 4.. and 4 became 100. You looked around and saw nothing.
You feel something slither across your boot. you look down to see the world consuming you.
You cry for help..

Little POV for ya
You're sitting in your room, flicking through TikTok on your phone, then you hear a noise. You get up to go and check but when you open your door and step into the hallway it turns into dark, and lengthens, you stand there, examining your surroundings, suddenly you hear a odd sound... it's music, and you swear you heard it before (this song) you walk by all the doors, peeking in. Nothing much.
Then you reach the sound, you enter the room to see an old dusty piano playing itself, reapting the song. You get drawn closer and wipe off the seat, sitting down. You begin to copy the song and realize where you heard this.
You heard this in the backgrounds of your dreams, your nightmare, sometimes playing in the back of your head. You stand up to go and leave but the door is gone, and replacing it is a tall... thing... It had two different it had a black and white side, with green and red eyes. It's hair was in kind of a horn-shape, and it had a long tail. It had tears the colors of its eyes.
"Hello..?" You manage to mutter, and the... monster? Made a strange noise, you couldn't really make it out.
Then you woke up, in the morning. Apparently you had been speaking in your sleep! Silly, it was all a dream. Just. A. Dream... Right?
As you looked in the corner of your room you saw him tilt his head and smile, disappearing with a "*poof*" and some purple dust....

This piano may not sound as good as it was when it was young, but through the years it went through thick and thin, through many pianists, and as it slowly went out of tune, no one really played it.. Not till this guy did.. mad respect to both the guy and the piano

A straight story for you all... You stand out onto an empty field, clutching your hands into a fist. You smell the daisies and roses nearby. Suddenly, you hear someone walking up to you, you quickly turn to see. In a matter of fact, theres no one there. You turn sit down on your knees, cross-legged. Slowly, you shut your eyes. But something feels off. A song starts playing, it sounded out of tune and old. It got closer, and closer. You hear someone whisper "why?". Your confused, but you open your eyes. Somehow, you have gone into a different scenario. You are now in a dark room, with a piano and a box. You slowly crawl over the creaky floors to get to the box. You then open it to reveal a ripped ruined photograph. It looked as if it was taken thirty years ago, on a very old polaroid camera. You pick it up and look around, confused, to try and find a light. You find a small torch, not giving much light. You turn it on and stare at the photograph. "I've seen this... Person before..." you muttered to yourself. A song played on the piano "Huh?" You say, clearly bewildered. You look over to the piano. No one was there, just an empty, old, rusty piano playing by itself. You stand up, brushing the dirt of your outfit, and walk over. It stopped. You slid your hands on the keys, rubbing off the dust. You start to play something. It sounded a lot like "bum bum bum bum bum ba bum bum ba ba bum bum bum ba ba" (this song, obviously). You liked it and continued. You hear a creak on the floor by continue anyway. "Hello..." Said a cold, whispery voice behind you. You stopped, terrified. Shut your eyes and thought... "Is this a simulation?" You turned around, shocked. You see a short, goat-like woman. "You are quite good..." It said again. she put a finger on your lips to stop you from talking. "Hush, child..." You keep quiet and look up at her. She had long, silky blue hair. Goat horns and ears with a big bushy tail. And she had great, green pupils. She was wearing a dark, white dress. She looked almost fake. "Who-... Who are you..?" You whisper. "Me? My name is Muel." She answered. "Meul..." You thought to yourself for a moment, leaving the room dead silent. She looked at you with her glassy green eyes. "Would you like to... Stay?" She asked. Your completely lost in thought. yes no β "No... I have to get back to my family.." You answer, starting to tear up. Even though you never met this woman and know nothing about her, you still feel like she's part of you and means everything to you. "Very well, dear.." She hugged you and opened a portal. It shined brightly. You shut your eyes and opened them again. The portal led back into the field. You look at her, and walk out. "Goodbye, dear..." She called as you walk out. You are back where you were. Completely forgetting what happened. You hear a someone call you and you run back to your house. (*alternative ending*) yes no β "Yes.." You call. She looked at you and hugged you. You remember your grandma had passed away a few weeks ago. She had almost the exact apearance as her. You start to cry. "Grandma?.." You say with a shaky, tearful voice. "Yes, dear?" Your shocked and you practically have a river going down your cheeks. You tighten the hug.
