Do we even speak the same language?!

At Dreaming Spanish, you will learn Spanish the way you learned your native language, namely, through immersion. Simply start watching content at a level that is comprehensible to you, and gradually work your way towards more and more advanced videos.

As researchers like Dr. Stephen Krashen have shown over the past 40+ years, receiving comprehensible input, that is, messages that you can understand in the target language, is what actually results in language acquisition.

By listening to our stories, cultural expositions, conversations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation.

Experience the language. Become the language.

I’m Italian and never studied Spanish, but these young ladies spoke so clearly that I literally understood 95% of the video. I really enjoyed it. Good job!

I'm Japanese. It's interesting to have people from other countries who speak the same language. No one generally don't speak Japanese outside of Japan.

I'm not even learning Spanish 😂 but loved the Argentinian's personality. Youtube's autotranslate really came in clutch on this one.

I love that they are speaking slowly and clearly so I can understand them. Videos like this help me so much with developing my listening comprehension.

Awesome video. My Spanish is very elementary; took it in high school 40+ years ago, now using Duolingo to help me improve. What I find fascinating is that we can easily see the American, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and British English phenomenon demonstrated to us in a totally different language - Spanish!

I'm familiar with mostly Mexican and Iberian Spanish. I have ancestry from both countries as well as from Italy, but I don't speak a lot of Italian. I spent a summer in Colombia, so I'm somewhat familiar with their Spanish too. I haven't been to Argentina yet, but it's a country I'd like to check out. Congrats on your FIFA win, but as Brazilians say: "Todo o mundo tenta, mas só o Brasil pode ser penta," penta-campeão, five-time champion, that is.
