Wow! I've only been playing for about six months and I found this lesson really useful and helpful. As part of my learning process, I often try to play along with a friend who has been playing for many years and also try to play along with recordings of songs I'm trying to learn. You have just forever changed the way I'll "Play along." Many thanks !!!

Yyour videos have been the little bits of theory and lessons to unlock a LOT of my guitar playing. It is no understatement to say that you are the best teacher for guitar, even in pre-recorded videos like these. Youtube is full of videos for guitar teaching, but none can engage and teach like yours. Thank you, sincerely

Great lesson. I took a lot from listening to GN'R - Izzy's rhythm playing was always complimentary to what Slash was doing, and never cluttered up the band's sound. It's OK to step back sometimes, and knowing when to do that something that a lot of guitarists forget all too often.

That's crazy...lol. I swear I was just doing that kinda stuff to a John Fogerty concert that was on tv with my little nylon string acoustic. Most of his songs have a groove that will swallow you whole if you let it. Really easy to find a pocket to work in. I love that you pointed this little trick out to those who may not know it yet. It's probably one of the best things you can do to hone your improvisational skills. It takes a while to learn how to play into a song rather than over it. Great lesson man!!!
