He died on February 09, 2020, because of gastric cancer.
This was his favorite song and he really liked singing this on karaoke.

I can't believe this man died in 2014 and I did not hear of his passing in the news. I guess it was not a big deal for many people, but this band is part of our memories. I was a teen in the 80s and this band like the rest of the 80s bands holds a special place in my heart. I just wished this man had been honored in a different way at the time of his passing.
