When some group tells you to contact your member of Congress to tell them how to vote, find out who is funding them. Most likely you will want to tell Congress to do the opposite of what the group that contacted you wanted. If companies want something, it is usually bad for you if they get it.

Qui Bono? Is the first question when any large industry will be impacted by any government policy proposals. . - Healthcare System - and its adjunct Big Pharma - Private Equity - also drives Healthcare! - Oil/Gas/Petrochemical and Coal - Transportation (Consumer, Commercial, Public, Regional/National Air and High Speed Rail ) - All Media (print, broadcast, internet, social, gaming, Sports betting, music, video) If a new policy doesn’t primarily benefit private citizens/consumers, our ecology/environment, and a just and equal representative democracy, the primary beneficiaries of the status quo (dominant industrial players) are defending against and undermining the policy.
