Wow!!! Of all the Jamaican teams entered at yesterday's first day, only the 4x100 men's team qualified automatically for the upcoming Olympics.I am so proud of my fellow St. Catherine High alumnus Sandey Davison 💙🤍🇯🇲 who anchored the team to 2nd place. Great lead-off by Levell as well. Good overall job by this team on a whole. Congrats 👏🏼

For the haters and doubters, don't sleep on Sandrey , he did a personal best a few weeks ago at the National Stadium, then clawed back Jamaica to a win at Penn Relays and now at World Relays....a good anchor for the team. Looking forward to the 4x100 team running today and that they place in the top 3 and win some prize money 🙏🏽.

Initially thought BAH putting 16yr old Shania Adderley (54.50 PB) on anchor vs Paulino & Femke was the worst decision of the night, but JAM said 'Hold My Beer' as only ONE Team out of 5 (by 0.004s) barely automatically qualified for Paris! A truly shambolic performance all round!

The relay is one of the most exciting parts of the Olympic games. Shame on athletes if they aren't hurt and didn't make themselves available and shame on the organizers for not sending better athletes if they were available.

Times like these, I don’t like our club systems. Times like these, I like the centralized system of having athletes willing and eager to run for country. I’m not running up my BP in my old age over coaches, athletes and clubs playing games.

Fans are concerned because there will ONLY be 16 countries participating in the relays at the Olympics & 14 of the 16 countries will be chosen at the World Relays. Didn't the JAAA, Top Athletes & Coaches knew that ? Why do they think other countries sent their best athletes ? Where is the leadership ? This is about THE COUNTRY & those who should have its best interest. The JAAA has long being inept, not involving Coaches & of course, those Coaches who are in it for themselves & some athletes who think they are too big & above the country!
