Push aside her beauty, which is difficult. MIA talks about things no one else is talking about. MIA pushes boundaries no one else dares to push. MIA isn't a product. it was all good til she said 'displaying female empowerment thru being punk rock'. Â it didn't seem like she consciously did it. it just seemed like a typical MIA thing to do when you sing "i don't give a shit", she was most likely just caught up in the moment and didnt really realize she did it. but everything else she says is true. the exact second she flips the bird, theres little black girls with their legs spread in the air.

Perfect example of why our culture needs independent thought more middle fingers on mainstream television...sexual exploitation of children, no problem, but the second you flash an "inappropriate" symbol, your ostracized, ridiculed, and sued. I love this woman so much!!
