When my wife was pregnant with our son, I was so excited I could hardly wait to meet him. When he was born, I suddenly got this awsome sense of responsibility. It was the first time I had felt that lever of unconditional love. He is now 33 years old and I still feel the same way. Kids change everything for the better.

Iā€™m not sure if Iā€™ll ever have kids, but if I do, I hope Iā€™m at least half as good at being a father that these gentlemen are.

This makes me wanna tell my dad how much I appreciated him and give him a hug. All you dads out there, youā€™re important and your funny goofiness is something your kids will always cherish. As well as your wisdom.

As a dad of a 9-year-old and 3-year-old, I can tell you, no matter how serious you are, if there is any bit of "kid" in you, your children will bring that out. If you're already naturally goofy like me, all bets are off, and you'll be seeing your partner/wife shaking her head or hysterically laughing at you multiple times a day. Your kids will always remember the fun times.

This is so wholesome. In my experience as a child my mom would spend all the time taking care of us and my father would work. When he came home he got the fun part of taking us wherever while my mom had to stay with the other kids. Recently my father spends no time with us after work. And I have started appreciating my mother more. I hope both parents share the hard and fun parts of being a parent!

I would look away when my late husband played with our kids at times. I found myself holding my breath or wanting to yell at him to be careful or stop. Now he's no longer with us, and I wish I could go back in time and watch him play with our kids again! I was SO embarrassed at times, and i wish i would've just enjoyed it. I remember once when he was rolling around on the floor of the Target toy aisle with our 4 yr old, they both had sunglasses on and were pretending to be special agents. If only I had known he wouldn't be with us forever!
