I made it to 50 pretty much unscathed. By 55, things started to go wrong. Vision at night, recovery after physical exertion, the ability to run without looking retarded. At 59, I lose muscle tone quickly if I don’t exercise, I have to eat right, my balance is starting to suffer and joints ache. I like sitting down. Rob Halford is 72 (73?), and he can do THIS! You young people can’t imagine the strength and stamina this man possesses. Bon Jovi, Axle Rose, Sebastian Bach, Brian Johnson (never mind w/r to him, I've been corrected... older than Rob and still singing well!), and many more can’t sing anymore despite being years or decades younger, and here’s the Metal God killing Love Bites, Saints in Hell, and more. I love this man, been a fan since the late 70s, and has my respect. He’s a true believer, he truly loves his fans, and he deserves all respect!

Halford really warmed up now, truly impressive for a guy his age to be doing the setlist they're doing. And he's fully pulling it off now that he's back in the groove! So hyped for the rest of the tour.

As an early Priest fan I knew hell bent for leather well before I learned Rob Halford did too. 😂 Joking aside, I'm still a big fan of the Priest, love the new album and have a huge respect for the way Halford plows through their setlist night after night. While his pipes have aged, with the balanced vocal technique he applies he still gives many singers, male, female, same age or (much) younger a run for their money! 🤘🏻😎👍🏻

What I find amazing is Rob has not lost that much of his vocal ability over the years. At times he still sounds the same as he was back in the seventies! He is truly the Metal God!
