as a child at the age of 10-13 i loved Aragon for his coolness, Samwise for his endless friendship and Gimli for his pride.
Now, i feel like i have grown with the movie and think that the burden and sorrow of Theoden and the wisdom of Gandalf are my favorite.

I know it seems minor, because Theoden has so many epic moments, but I always felt his forgiveness of Grima and even trying to bring him back as a man of Rohan was the scene that solidified his character as a Great King.
