Jensen Huang has been recorded saying that they intentionally don't give their new GPUs all the performance possible, it's not profitable for them. If they can get away with giving you a 25-60% increase in performance each generation for the same price (~$2000) each time, why would they suddenly give you a 100%-500% increase within one generation? They intentionally stretch it out slowly over multiple generations to keep their profits up. Love this channel but unfortunately this video is clickbait

I love the details but lets be realistic. RTX 4090's are upwards of 2k right now. RTX 4080 super's are being released quarter one 2024 for apparently 1k. So over the next few months RTX 4080 supers and 4090s are going to sell between 1k and 2k. Why would Nvidia sell a 5090 for 1.5k or 1.6k in a year from now? DDR7 is crazy expensive and more of it? Hard to get! So that would be a bad business decision from arguably the best business in 2023. Add the fact AMD is not releasing a flagship. No 8900XTX instead a 8800XTX or 8800XT or whatever they call it. If these details are accurate? They look like they could be. We are looking at a 2.5K to 3k 5090s. Titans easily 5k. Nvidia will be competing with itself again at the high end and will continue to do so. Nvidia afraid of AMD is wishful thinking. I like it but, wishful.

Got a 7900XTX for black friday. This will be my first AMD GPU since ATi 9250. I am happy to reward a company with good behavior. AMD has made good strides in the console market and has been releasing their technologies such as FSR to all GPUs including Nvidia and Intel. I hope they keep up their good work.

50% boost across the board. Titan comes in at $2999.95 if released.
5090 hits shelves at $1999.95
5080 comes in at $1099.99
If I had to guess at least, that's where I would put them in very late 2024 to late Q1 2025. It really depends on how long it takes AMD to get RDNA5 ready after their mid-gen mid-range refresh. Is it a refresh if they move to 4nm+/6nm? Yeah, I am going with a refresh on a slightly better node, hopefully with those pesky kinks all worked out. Even better would be no 6nm and a monolithic die. That'd be neat, and I bet the performance would be stellar for the 300^2'dmm estimated size.
