As someone whos been learning about geology. Its a folding of rock layers into a lump where the top has eroded away, it's know as an anticline. There's many examples all over the world of this. The rocks in the center are older than around the perimeter. Incidentally, its an example of how old the earth is, cause that takes millions of years to happen.

I just looked up this area on Google Earth, and in less than 30 seconds I found at least 5 other similar formations in the immediate vicinity.
So its either a geological formation common in that area, or there are multiple giant boats strewn about on those mountains.
