In my first lucid dreams, many years ago, I was in a street with many people walking, and I was paying attention to their faces, and thinking: "How can these people are appearing in my dream if I don't know them?" And there were a lot of people.
About seeing me in the mirror, I love doing that. I have had wonderful experiences. One technique I discovered recently is asking my "mirrored-self" to grab my arm and push me into the mirror, to go to the "mirror-side". And I'm always successful.

Had a dream I was trapped in a little room with a window and a door I watched my ex walk upto the window and she nodded upwards like as if to say "come on then" as if trying to get me to react I just stayed still and kept looking her in the eyes that's when she opened the door and walked in I think I looked at her as if to say why have you done this for me. That's when she came into the room and she went and laid down. To my left and she motioned for me to come lay on top of her and hold her so I did. That's when she looked me right in the eyes and said"I was trying to teach you something else. That's when I woke up π’ I so badly just wanted to get back to sleep to be with her again in my dreams. But I didn't go back there again. ππποΈ

I always try to look in a mirror when I'm lucid in a dream, I never saw anything scary, but just not me always someone else, like this last time i looked in a mirror i saw a little chinese looking guy, and I started laughing. This other time looked in a mirror and it wasn't me again, then I asked "Who was I in my last life" and it should me a tall guy with long hair. I was like rock-on dude....lol Once i even jumped in a miror and I ended up in a dark/black void floating or in space that was crazy. This one time I looked at this girl that I thought it was my daughter, but when I went up close to her it's like it was my daughter and it wasn't, but it was close.....lol Lucid dreaming is always fun and crazy, everytime I have one I always wake-up laughing and in a good mood.
