Miss these days. No fb no cell phones. Just bunch of friends hanging out and skating.

The crooked grind down the railing w/ the boom box has to be one of the most iconic 90’s grinds, that sht just smacks nostalgia right in your face

The way Muska man handles handrails in this video was groundbreaking at the time. Why compare it to the skating of today? Appreciate it for what it was then. I still see guys who dress and (attempt to) skate like Muska and that speaks volumes. The guy is a legend of skateboarding.

Watching this in 2023 you can see how powerful and burly a skater Muska was. Dude was a beast in a time when most people were trying to be super smooth.

I remember becoming a skater in 1995 and lived through this era as a teenager in the 90s. Unbelievable times to be involved with skateboarding for sure.

This was so rad back when it first came out. These old videos have so much nostalgia. Man those were the days. Skating for 8 hrs a day all over town. Crazy how far it's come. Still dream about skating even though I only skate with my dog now haha.

Love all these old skaters, each had such a distinct style. Skating has progressed so much since then that it can start to look a bit mechanical among pros and a tre flip is a tre flip is a tre flip. Back in the dizz,e you could see that Muska 50-50. It's just a 50-50 but the way he stands up nearly perfectly straight, feet move very little from the ollie up onto the rail. A distinct personal style. Like Andrew Reynolds with fs flips -- lots of people can fs flip, but the way the long legs would suck the board up under him made it his. It's like playing a jazz standard; everyone technically plays the same song, but then you hear that one band just absolutely kill it. Every little movement is perfect

Back to my days. Big Shoes, all baggy clothes, no Karen's and crazy Times with my board. I miss that.

What a style! Muska skating was very human, very street, the scenarios, the spots, THIS is street skateboarding!

Muska: hey, ima ollie down these three huge ass sets, all in a row! filemer: you should do it with no shirt on! that way if you fall you'll skin yourself raw! Muska: hell yeah dude

That original shorty's team was the personification of 90s skateboarding. I don't think we will ever have a peak like that again. That's when style and persona trumped all the robotic technical shit that's become skateboarding.

One of the important video parts in skateboarding history. Muska took the game by assault with this.
