Ugh and now I'm crying. For a couple of reasons- 1. This song and video depicts the stuggle of depression vs. hypomania. Girli doesn't say anything about having hypomania necessarily, but her looking like a hot mess in her "confident" dress is too real because even hypomanic phases have their negative parts, taking things too far and losing direction, feeling overwhelmed, and coming down from hypomania straight into depression is jarring. I love what she said about it being obviously made on a stage and how it's meant to be like a play because none of these thoughts are real but we take them into our lives anyway, I feel that.
2.This is great, and I gotta say even the fat giraffe suite is pretty cute, + idk what's wrong with liking pea soup. I'm so proud of Girli, all of her growth mentally and as an artist is brilliant, I'm proud that she's using her platform for the greater good and making bangers all the while.
Love you Girli, I hope you're one of this generation whose impact becomes more and more broad so you can influence this generation to be confident, loving and ethical. Your music has been my friend through MY ups and downs, thank you for everything you do.
