When you set a value index on nature itself, you can do it for people too. This group is worth so much and this group is worth more based on gender, location, education. Life itself becomes a commodity that can be bartered and sold because whatever is considered valuable could easily be devalued. It's mankind's ultimate failing that our arrogance and hubris entitles us to anything we touch.

Price is for replicating something. It is how much should be spent on making it again. Since The Amazon forests are un replicable, it is Pricelss. If spending a trillion dollar would make a new Amazon forest, then all countries of the world should contribute and make this happen so there are Two amazons

Interesting, I also think we should focus less on giving everything a price like CO2 emissions. It's way too narrow. Or giving subsidies for electric cars that are still very harmful because the alternative fossil fuel car is even worse is so stupid. I sometimes wonder what kind of regulation or whatever could help us consume less and get way more out of what we do consume. I bet it's possible to have 10 billion people on earth that are way happier and relaxed than we are now with the same technology while using 1/100th of the energy we use now. If we cut out all the stuff we don't need nor enjoy and have our leaders look out for our happiness and basic needs only. Good food, a roof for everyone and a fun shared outside world filled with nature.

We depend on nature as a…nurtureπŸ₯ because we are biological beings dependent on our one and only Earth. Biology coukd take the forefront in a world govt role, in that there is no question or ambiguousness. These biological rules who be perfect for future planets if we reach them. Simple standards that we had to prove like clean air, water so the body may function properly, social distancing because we just learned our lesson, and overall the more people(population) the less space we all have. BOTTOMLINE. The less resources, prices go up because supply, and we just need to curtail entropy starting with the basics that living species require. Maybe we should be strict as the chain of command on these ideals, and that would mean we were closer to pro-life. Also if we could all do, stop slaughter other species for food…
