I've seen this video many many times and watch it a couple times a year. Yardbirds and guitar virtuosos like Beck and Page continue to inspire me everyday. I had to watch this immediately after the news of Becks passing. What a legend, rip Beck and thank you for everything.

I watch "Blow Up" every ten years or so just to see the band. It's a great movie and is indicative of the times. I was a young teenager in London in 1966 for the summer. Carnaby Street, bought lots of music and clothes.

The movie "Blowup" was considered a modern masterpiece by critics when it was released in 1967. This Yardbirds performance is the only thing I remember about the film, but I only saw it once, and that was 40-50 years ago. This is the only visually recorded Yardbirds performance with both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page that I'm aware of.
