Thanks for saving me from scrolling through Prime offerings for hours and not finding anything then just giving up and turning to the bottle. You might have prevented my descent into alcoholism, homelessness and a premature and tragic departure. Thanks again.

Gotta add my love for "Battle Royale." If you've never seen this film, you're missing something. A group of school kids are fitted with explosive collars, given random weapons, and given three days to kill each other off until only one remains. Some of the kids are complete psychopaths, some try to band together to figure out how to escape, and some just try to stay alive for the three days. Very violent but also very affecting as kids you root for are slaughtered.
The film hit a huge nerve in Japan and was rated for adults. It was never officially released in America due to concerns it might provoke school violence and was only finally released in2011. As other commenters have said, it sure looks like "The Hunger Games" ripped off much of it, but Suzanne Collins has denied it. At any rate, it's a tougher, leaner, and more effective version of the story. Highly recommended, especially if you're a fan of "Hunger Games" or "Squid Game."

The Untouchables is a movie that I could rewatch endlessly, although I never do. It was etched into my brain as it matured, there is no way around that.

The Director was led to believe Road House was going to be for the big screen. Amazon, even though they had agreed to that, went right to streaming. Actually the director boycotted the film at release.

Love Vanilla Sky! The most underrated Tom Cruise movie, by far. Just think of it as an episode of the Twilight Zone and don't go into it with preconceived expectations.
Will finally watch The Untouchables and The Great Escape! Great recommendations as always.

The Roadhouse remake is basically just and advert for the UFC, what with not only paper champion McGregor starring, but also that slapping scene which is very obviously referencing Dana White's abhorent Power Slap. Hard pass, despite Liman and Gyllenhaal.

Amazon Prime has become irrelevant to me for watching movies.
I'm already paying like $100 a year for Prime - and now - they're going to insert Commercials into everything if you don't give them an EXTRA amount of money each month.
They can go fuck themselves.
I had just started to watch the Expanse series - so - I sat through six seasons constantly interrupted by Commercials.
I am also watching the lase season of Young Sheldon - which of course - being a TV show - has commercials.
I'm over 70 years old and have been watching TV with Commercials all my life.
I fucking HATE commercials.
I will not watch them. I turn the sound off and alt tab to another program or literally lift up the remote to block the commercial so I can't see it. What I used to do when I watched TV - was to turn the sound off and read a book during the commercials.
Watching Videos on YouTube - I - click out of the commercial as soon as I can or turn the sound off.
Now - for some things - that is how they get their funding - but - for Amazon Prime - I'm already paying for that - so I should NOT have to watch commercials - and I won't.
So - I still rent and buy movies from Amazon - but Prime has become irrelevant. So - I'll be watching a lot more Net Flix.

Road to Perdition is just a beautifully made gangster film, with great performances across the board. So damn rewatchable.
