Definitely needs to be shared more, like I can imagine it. It's the year 1889 and deep in Rocky Mountain range of north America sits a crew of outlaws by the fire. As they were discussing if they should rob a small port town in the future, they all agreed that they should one day except for one. And the outlaw that refused was none other than the leader of the group of outlaws, who always carried his guitar with carvings of the sea , who always wore a glove on his left hand, the man who stared down a charging grizzly, The very man that got the BEAR to back off and had the voice like he was straight out of a Forde commercial....... Looked Rattled maybe even a little scared. Now this surprised the crew of outlaws because never in their live had they seen this man wavered who now looked like he was skittish as a newborn deer at the mention of going anywhere near the cost. So naturally the band of outlaws were curious as to what got him so rattled and asked why he seemed cautious to go to the costal town which then he replied steadily, " It ain’t the town that I'm worried about. Its the sea that's my problem so that’s finale, and if you go then i'm GONE. Understand." And as he said it with a tone of finality the crew went silent by the fire. Until a few minutes in one of the outlaws ask why the sea got him so spooked. For a moment he contemplated on what he should or not before he decided to tell a tale. So he pick up the guitar that seemed much older in the light of the fire before play this tune. He said that in the vast sea the slumbers an ancient beast, one as old as the sea itself and those who found a black spot to stain their skin were marked for death by the creature. He then said that once his great grandfather was once a pirate of the sea until one day a black spot appeared on his hand, and when the captain of the ship saw that devilish stain he nearly threw his great granpappy of the ship until with a lurch the ship halted, as if it had hit a reef~. Then below the water A mighty bellow was heard, as if the very ocean itself called out in displeasure at the boat and then thats when he saw it. His Great Granpappy must have been the first one to see them because the 2 closest from him were suddenly plucked from the ship before disappearing beneath the waves. Then all those who could saw what would be their deaths. Ten massive arms as long as six as many of their ship rose from the depths stilled for what might have been a minute with the crew deathly silent. Then quick as an Eel they descended upon the ship crushing as many as were pluck from the deck. His granpappy said It was over all to quickly and that he was lucky because he grabbed ahold a floating barrel and started heading to shore but not before looking back as what was left of the ship and crew, he said on his deathbed that he wished he never turned his head to see what had happened because then he wouldn’t have had to sea the beast. What he saw was a massive form bringing its upon the deck as it devoured his still screaming friend alive with a maw of teeth like straight out of hell, the closest thing he could’ve compared it to would be a devil fish he saw at a market once except it was massive and looked as old the sea itself. Then with barely any effect on its part and a crack like thunder the beast split the ship before dragging it to the depths never to release its catch. When he washed up on shore of what now would be Virginia he made his way towards a pub and like a madman began his tale. No one would listen until a old hag began to cackle to him, saying that he had cheated death on the waves and showed him that the spot on his hand marked him for death but he escaped at the cost of his crew. She explained that since he still was marked by the beast he should never go back to the sea for it will return to get the prey that still lived and that until I caught him It will NEVER stop searching . and when he asked the hag if it had a name she obliged before she cackled and disappeared in the night. And ever since his line has been marked by the black spot, to Targeted by that sea devil. Fast forward to the outlaws who sat by the fire in silence. The leader then took his glove of and showed them a spot as Black as coal as if painted on his hand. then one of the outlaws who were finally brave enough to speak asked,"s-So what was th-that thing called?" The leader then with a voice that could freeze the the very campfire said, "It is called THE KRAKEN"
