Story: Part 6 - Chapter Black

May leaves the hideout. The world had been turned into a wasteland, with ghouls and ghosts like creatures running rampant. May wonders for days, exploring the land while slaying monsters. And also tames two blood hounds. May eventually discovers a massive graveyard on a hill, which at the top is a gothic church.

While walking through graveyard, May is ambushed by Jinn. As they fight, the Jinn escape into the church. Filled with rage, May sends the hounds after them, following behind.

The inside of the church is massive like a cathedral. May hears yells from the basement, and goes to investigate. To May’s surprise, there’s a secret prison under the church which has about 6 people in a cell. They plead for May to save them. One prisoner says that they’ve each been lured into the church only to be captured. May promises to find a way to release them, and investigates the church further.

May walks back to the first floor and sees a Jinn across the room. The startled Jinn runs through a door that leads to the rooftop. Chasing after, May arrives on the rooftop. A man is surrounded by five Jinn. One is holding a cup filled with May’s blood from the ambush earlier. The man explains to May he’s made a deal with the Jinn. 6 sacrifices and pure Jinn blood in exchange for immortality. As the ritual begins, the ground open up revealing the basement in flames as the prisoners burn.

May engages in a battle with the immortal man, as the Jinn watch. They exchange blows, going back and forth as the church burns beneath them. May grabs the spectating Jinn, throwing them one by one at the man. As he evades them May rushes and decapitates him. Picking up the head May drinks the blood of the man, and is granted new powers. The Jinn end up fleeing the area, and May leaves the burning building.

Out front May feels awful for not being able to save the people. While looking down, one of the hell hounds drags a human in front of them. The person seems to still be breathing.
