He terrified me when he played Moriarity. Anything I have seen him play is done with such intelligence and depth.

Andrew Scott is the kind of actor that you cannot not look at. I literally mean it, his eyes are so captivating.

What he said about the Priest and Fleabag not needing to know each other's backstories to form a genuine connection, or even the audience being able to connect with the Priest without knowing his story either.... blew me away.
It's comforting to know that he's aware of the Priest's impact that's not relevant to his hot looks.

I met Andrew at the height of his Sherlock fame, in 2015, at a convention, and he was so so lovely going out of his way to be friendly and down to earth, I am so glad he just keeps reaching bigger and bigger heights.

Andrew Scott is one of those actors that exhibits this beautifully vulnerability and pathos like he is allowing the audience to be guided into the souls of his characters. His work in Handsome Devil and Pride is sublime work

Iā€™m currently losing my Dad to terminal cancer and watching All of Us Strangers absolutely broke me. Such a fantastic film that really hits home. Andrew plays the part perfectly, there is never enough time with the people you love.

He's devastatingly perfect in "All of Us Strangers". Keeping fingers crossed he pulls off an Oscar nomination; it would be a completely earned nomination.

GQ so real for including Hamlet in this video. I've seen many a Hamlet in my life and there has been nobody who has even come close to the performance that Andrew Scott gave in that role.

I have Pride listed as one of my favourite movies ever and get a lot of flack for that because there's not anything particularly groundbreaking about it. No flashy cinematography, no method actors losing themselves physically and emotionally in a role, no amazing monologues that have millions of views on YouTube, but, everything is done perfectly. The script is expertly written, the cast acts their parts perfectly, the direction is assured and confident, and each story beat hits where it's supposed to hit. I've seen that film 25x easily, and I'll easily watch it 25 more.

If anyone wants to watch Andrew in a one man short film, and see him be completely captivating and heartbreaking, look up Sea Wall. Utterly incredible how he can embody the entirety of a character.
