Slight of hand magician and Inception fan, Steve Faulkner has broken a Guinness World Record for the highest number of spinning tops spun simultaneously at one time. With only one hand he kept 22 totems rotating, smashing the previous record of 16 that was set in Japan in 2009. The 37 year old father of two from Ecclesall in Sheffield practiced for weeks after seeing Leonardo DiCaprio's character, Cobb, spin a totem in the film to evaluate his state of dreaming or consciousness
