The most disgusting part was the fact that the officers' superiors did NOT support him. That is unforgiveable!

Sandra Doorley is a shining example of "The laws are for thee, not for me."

So Sandra dealt with 3 homicides that day? Luckily the speed she was driving didn't cause a 4th.

As a former Police Officer and a former Road Patrol Supervisor, I feel sorry for the Officer. At the same time, I would have expected him to do his job and give the DA the speeding ticket, charge her with fleeing, and fail to obey a lawful command. I thought the Supervisors were cowards and threw the Officer under the bus. The DA should be forced out of office. Easy for me to say, I'm just sitting home tapping the keys!

By her entire demeanor, I believe she was drinking: eluding, standing as far away as possible from the officers, talking from her doorway…

As a former police officer turned medic, i witnessed this type of conduct constantly. It's absolutely disgusting.

She doesn’t have the temperament to be a DA. She is like a spoiled brat.

My father was a police officer for 25 years 17 of them as the chief of police. The city he worked for about 5 years into his stent as the chief got a new mayor. They were cool with each other until approximately 3 years later one of his officers stopped the mayors son for a DUI. Sometime around 3AM my dad gets a call from the Mayor, she informs him of the stop and “demanded” he tell his officers to let them go and allow the mayor to drive the vehicle to her home. My father called the officer who initiated the stop and asked him for the full story. He explained it was a DUI stop, not only was the driver clearly intoxicated, there was an open container in the vehicle. He told the officer to proceed as usual and called the mayor back. He informed the mayor under no circumstances was she going to receive special treatment. At this point the mayor said to him “You have just made a big mistake against a very powerful enemy. Watch your back.” The silver lining to the story is that was on a recorded line and the mayor ultimately ended up resigning in disgrace. But the moral of the story is how disturbingly common these types of things happen. It’s sad and disgusting the amount of corruption there is in politics and law enforcement.

She's a DA? Unreal. She's not fit to be a public servant. This cop should've arrested her. That police department needs a new chief who needs to clean house, and that DA needs to go.

This woman is the epitome of entitlement. The council's demand for investigation into her conduct will reveal the actual level and depth of corruption in that place.

She didn’t just walk into the house. She took something into the house with her and came out empty-handed.

Sandra, what a way to end your 33 year career. I take you you're going out with a BANG! Instead of behaving in an exemplary manner knowing your behavior is all captured on camera for the entire world to see! That officer deserves a promotion for his level of professionalism and calm, cool demeanor.

I cannot imagine how awful these people must be to their friends and family if this is how they treat strangers.

A DA is not a cop, a DA is a politician. Knowing that, it all makes sense.

At the end of the video shown locally, the cop basically apologized for the ticket, saying he didn't notice who it was driving the car. This means all the big shots get a pass every time. This cop just made a mistake.
