The biopic movie of Sfera Ebbasta is called FAMOSO, as the album to be released on November 20th for Island Records.
The movie will be available WW, in five languages (Italian, German, English, Spanish and French), on Amazon Prime Video from October 27th.

FAMOSO, directed by Pepsy Romanoff, co-produced by Maurizio Vassallo for Except (already working on numerous musical productions, including the direction of Vasco Rossi's concert-event in Modena Park) and produced by Island Records / Universal Music Italia, is the incredible story of Sfera Ebbasta, from the outskirts of Milan to an established artist and star respected all over the world; the genesis of the King of Trap but above all of the most successful Italian artist in the last 20 years. Today, almost three years after his last album Rockstar (seven tracks on Spotify's global top 200 chart, just one of the multiple records he broke with the album), he counts 4.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has collected over 1.7 billion streams in total.

The film is also an opportunity to preview, from a completely privileged perspective, the making of the new album by Sfera Ebbasta; FAMOSO takes us with him to the studio, in the heart of the creative process of one of the most international projects in the history of Italian music.
These images rotate with videos of Sfera Ebbasta's career from the beginning in Cinisello, in the outskirts of Milan, in 2014 to today.

Told in first person and supported by the voices of his team, FAMOSO features his closest collaborators, the people he grew up with, with whom he shared an unprecedented path. From his mother to Charlie Charles, from Shablo to the various producers, the incredible story of a group of guys who wanted to change music and made it in just a couple of years.

For the first time these testimonies give us a portrait of the person, of the boy, who from the suburbs of Milan reached the top of all the charts in the country and who today is the main reference for the new Italian music scene abroad.

Together with his main collaborators, in the film you can see his lifetime friends, the participation of Marracash, one of the first artists who believed in him.
These voices alternate with those of new friends, artists who have dominated the international charts and who today consider him "a brother". Part of the documentary is in fact shot in the United States where Sfera Ebbasta joins the èlite circle of the international American and European music scene.

FAMOSO is the story of how Sfera, a boy who comes from nothing and has never had help of any kind, together with an extraordinary team, managed to establish himself as the most important music phenomenon in recent history; how he went from council houses to being, well…famous.
In Italian music time splits between a “before” and an “after” Sfera Ebbasta and this film tells us how this phenomenon began. In addition to crystallizing this revolution, it is a way to relaunch, to raise the bar once again; the next step, after Italy, is the world.
FAMOSO is a story of hunger, ambition and gratitude but it is also and above all a way of saying “you haven't seen anything yet”.
