The Monthly Junk started in 2013, as Sarah Adams and Maggie Rieth Austin sat in front of an old couch in the Dallas Comedy House lobby and laughed and laughed at how hilarious they were. Before too long, they put up a camera and filmed some bits. Ever since that day, they have been making each other laugh on and off camera.
As a duo, The Monthly Junk has written, produced, and performed in sketch comedy both on screen and on the stage. Their most recent credits include their short films THE SERVICE ELEVATOR (2017 USA Film Festival, Women Texas Film Festival, Best Shorts Fest) and the soon to be released CIVIC DUTY (2018) . They can also be seen performing their improvised show, The Monthly Junk, at the Dallas Comedy House and comedy festivals across the country.

It should be "Dress as you want as long as its NOT jeans and a tshirt". Going to see a show is an event. Even wearing leggings and a nice top is better than wearing jeans and a tshirt. It's pretty disrespectful to the art form to dress like you're going to the mall
