Everyone is complaining that this transformers movie is too goofy and full of comedy, but remember this is before the Great War and Cybertron fell, before everyone was a subject to war and had to get serious. There was a time in their life where they used to have fun and be happy so we can’t really be mad at it right now.

14:14 I was about 10 y/o when the first live action Transformers came out on opening night. It was a Super packed theater, everyone inside was super excited and the thing I remember the most is when the entire theater would erupt in cheering whenever a really cool scene would start. The vibe was immaculate, you just had to be there.

People are upset that Chris Hemsworth is voicing a younger Optimus prime, but you need to remember this is not Optimus prime yet.
Back in the original G1 cartoon Orion Pax didn't sound like how he sounds as Optimus now. He was a normal librarian with a normal voice until Alpha Trion repaired him with the Matrix Leadership and then he got that powerful iconic voice that we know now. Maybe in the end part of the movie will see his voice change to Peter Cullen's when he gets the matrix.

Sad to see so many people immediately dismissing this movie cuz it's animated and for kids. They fail to remember Transformers got popular BECAUSE of an animated tv show made for kids in the 80s.
I love the bay verse but it really warped the original tone and aesthetics of the original era.

Yuri Lowenthal should've been the voice actor for Bumblebee, it would've just been so fitting.
(BTW, Yuri Lowenthal is the voice actor for Spider-Man in the insomniac games and Ben 10 Alien Force.)
