We're from Dublin and we can vouch what a good piece of work this video is, well done with every aspect of it and informative too. We personally have more fun enjoying outside of the city center in spots where you can see Irish coastlines and islands, more of nature and less of man 😄

You describe the book of Kells as medieval. But it was written in the 9th century long before medieval times. You don't seem to understand why it's important. It was written and illustrated by hand over a 1000 years ago and we still have it. It's worth learning more about it. Kilmainham jail is historically interesting because it's where the 1916 leaders of the revolution were shot. Also Temple Bar is the name of the whole area not just the pub of that name. It was a medieval part of Dublin that was going to be demolished about 30 years ago until a group of artists managed to buy it and turned it into the interesting area it is today. It's not just pubs, it's theatres and venues and exhibitions and restaurants.

Regarding Temple Bar area, it's become a tourist trap aver the last two decades. Walk across Dame St to the Fade St area and the surrounding streets for where Dubliners actually socialise. Or in the evening, walk ten minutes further south to Camden St. Again, energetic nightlife but not a tourist trap.
Oh, and a taxi from the airport to the city is about €30-35
