Just so you know the white pen is actually from a really popular japanese art brand. Its pronounced "ku-re-ta-ke" and they're famous for their massive watercolour palletes.

small clippy pencil maybe for contractors or something like that. I'm a cake decorator and keep pens and markers in my pockets for taking cake orders and marking prices quickly and having a tiny one might be nice to avoid leg stabbing

A fun art challenge to do is to use the colours that bleed through thin pages to make a new artwork on the other side.

My dad is an engineer and he said those tiny mechanical pencils reminded him of the ones his Japanese colleagues would clip into their chest pocket to have on hand. He said mechanical pencils are preferred by engineers and they're the perfect size for a smaller easily accessible pocket!

"Isn't there a Harry Potter house that's yellow and purple?" Yes Rae, it's called Los Angeles Lakers

I really liked that picture! Sneks are always cool. BTW, Hufflepuff's colors are yellow and black, Gryffindor's are red and gold, and Slytherin's are green and silver. Ravenclaw's colors... well, they're bronze and blue in the books, but navy and silver in the movies. It turns out that bronze is a difficult color to film. Just sayin', not hatin'.

About the small pencil: This is definitely not the reason why it's so popular, but personally as a neurodivergent (which in my case is ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD for short), I have a special interest for small objects. This includes utensils (spoons, forks, etc.), stationery (highlighters, pens, etc.) and art supplies (paint tubes, pastels, etc.) as well. Sometimes I even collect tiny pebbles from the street! (Don't worry, I do clean them as soon as I have the chance.) These small items bring me stability and comfort, for reasons that I don't really have the words to explain. So, while it's probably not the reason for the tiny pencil to be so popular, it could be that other neurodivergent people feel a similar way about these small sized items.

Hey Rae, the brand of white ink is called Kuretake (coo ray tah kay), it's a Japanese brand and if this is your first time with them, please check out more of their stuff! I've had only good experiences, especially their black inks β™₯

With how often instagram users get hacked, I do not think their next avenue should be shopping. 😭

Regarding the small pencil: My grandad had one very similar that he had in a small pouch/purse with a pack of cards and mini note pad. Basically everything you need to have a game. Very handy.

When I saw the mini pencil, I instantly thought it would be perfect to take it with you to sketch outside / while traveling etc. I'm pretty sure it's the main reason it was created

Idk if anyone has done this yet, but it’d be cool to see you test a box of returns of art supplies. I’ve seen a few videos about buying bulk return boxes and there are a few that are categorized into specific types of products!

Rae needs to make penance for her terrible harry potter mistake by doing some harry potter-inspired art 🀣

I'm absolutely in love with the drawing. Watching what you create out of random supplies you get makes me want to start making art again.

I usually use the finest tipped white posca for all of my highlighting and mistake fixing needs. It works ok but it refuses to work sometimes and it's difficult to whiten bigger spaces and whatnot. I kinda want that pen you got now! Then again, I could always just get out a small bit of white paint and go about it that way.
