I absolutely adore the aesthetics in this video. MIA is such a forward-thinking hungry artist. She's 39(can you believe it??) yet has more creative juice flowing in her veins than most pop artists half her age. I love how she curates cannibalizes and assimilates the ideas aesthetics & ethos of modern of-the-moment global online culture and distills it all into her very own aesthetic cocktail. She's a post-modern alchemist for sure. It's just so...creative. MIA certainly has her finger on the pulse of our modern world. It makes for a very interesting take on the overall gestalt of what it means to be alive and young in January 29, 2015 whatever the current date is. Her art is so very relevant and inspiring.

It's impressive how M.I.A. was conceptual and visually ahead of her time. She captured post-Internet and acid graphics before those became a thing.
