"with a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound he pulls the spitting high tension wires down"
Right then buck slides or bends the strings or something and you can just see Godzilla wading through the power lines.
Yes that is Eric Bloom actually speaking Japanese during the breakdown.
When they played in Japan he sang the entire show in Japanese.

I saw BOC at a small venue, they came out on stage said the typical hellos then said " We are going to play everything we know" .." at the end of the show, if we missed something yell it out and well play it for an Encore" Nobody in the audience could think of a single song, we were all so blown away by the show we just stood there and stared.

Hey Jamel, I know I'm late to the party, but I've been a big BĂC fan for over 20 years and I think I can shed some light on your question about the origins or inspiration for the song. BĂC has always had lyrics that focused on horror, sci-fi, weird science, psychedelica, and psychic phenomena. Godzilla being representative of nuclear disaster and man made destruction of the most bizarre and unlikely style of consequences definitely fits their M.O. I don't think there is more to the story than that. BĂC are just big sci-fi horror fans and Godzilla inspired them. That's my best understanding.

My sons first concert was BOC, he was around 10yrs old. It was a small venue and we were sitting in the first two rows. My son was air guitaring in the front row singing along to this jam and Don't Fear the Reaper. The band was all smiles and tripping that this little kid knew their songs. He came home with drumsticks, guitar pics and signed ticket stubs.

The song is a straight up tribute to the legendary Godzilla. A total of 32 Toho films have been made, plus three American releases with a fourth coming up this November. It's a remake of 'Godzilla Vs. King Kong.' A cover of the song by Serj Tankian of System Of A Down was done for the last Godzilla flick, 'Godzilla: King Of The Monsters,' released in 2019. Cult made a parody song in 1998 when the first American Godzilla film was made called 'Nozilla' because the movie did not feature their song. It's pretty funny.

When they played this in Japan the crowd went wild. This is a tribute song as far as I know it was never in any Godzilla movie.
