A State of Knott's Berry Farm Report. Love it! ... This is how Knott's should be in the dead of winter on a midweek day. The crowds will return once Boysenberry Festival is back in the spring with all the Camp Snoopy renovations, followed by Summer Nights. ... Enjoy slow days like these while you can, because you are spot on about the sense of urgency, or lack thereof, on attractions. There should be at least two stagecoaches running -- one just isn't enough.

From an out of stater and Disney fan perspective, I adored Knottās. Went in with no expectations and came out pleasantly surprised. Itās cozy, doesnāt feel extremely corporate and kind of does its own thing. For a park down the street for THE Disneyland, good for them for finding their own identity.

I grew up in Oxnard, Ca. We started going to Knotts Berry Farm when I was in grade school. Somewhere around 1952 or so. We would get a room and stay for 5 or 6 days. That was when you parked and just walked right in. No admission fee. The Stagecoach and The Train Ride were our favorite things. I can still smell the air. Every night we would go to the Campfire for the Western Entertainment. A chicken dinner at Virginia's Restaurant was a must as well as Boysenberry anything. It is a far cry from the early days, but then so are a lot of things. It makes me long for 1955. Now I live in Ohio, near Cedar Point and Knotts Berry Farm is now owned and operated by Cedar Fair. My amusement park days are over, but I have great memories of Knotts Berry Farm from my youth. Always a great family place.

I've always loved slow weekdays like these at Knott's, going back to the 1980s. I think the weekends make up for the weekdays. IIRC, they used to be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I've always wondered why they don't have a Peanuts dark ride. Think of it: a Christmas room, a Halloween/Great Pumpkin room... great possibilities not taken.

We So agree with you. Knotts is under utilized and appreciated by guests. We LOVEā¤ Knottsš they will forever hold a special place for us because during the lockdown they did everything right when Disneyland was a huge fail. Knotts is a fabulous Park in so many ways. One of the top reasons it will always be fantastic -- so much Boysenberry š

Amazes me most about Knotts, a season pass for the whole year is a little less than a one day pass at Disneyland. Sure D-land is more spectacular, but still a whole day of fun, a place where small kids, teens, adults and even us old folks can have fun. Good food inside the park and plenty of places to eat just outside the gate.

I love knotts because its more of a year round playground for us locals. Ive been going to knotts since i was a baby and now as an adult im a prestige passholder and im there at least once a week, and several times a week during the summer when the waterpark is open. I still love the crazy rides but now as an adult i love going to the festivals and trying all kinds of food and drinking way too many boysenberry cocktails š

Knotts is a big departure from the Disneyland Resort, as far as what David will need to do to cover it all.. as he says, he has ambitious projects ahead. But if those projects include weekly or even monthly Knotts assessments, I'm all for it! I grew up between this park and Disneyland so they were my childhood!

Thereās so much more to Knotts. The revolving plays at the Birdcage, the shows in the Walter Knott theater, the historical buildings and artifacts. They have Ghost Town Alive, which is what Disneyland hoped Galaxyās Edge would have been. They have a ton of live music acts, street actors and they never bend to a mob. Iāve gained major respect for Knotts in the last 3 years.
