This is what Rihanna did:
She released 3 singles that are contrast with each other, one country, one trap, and one political related. She wanted us to guess what her new sound is gonna be. Then she dropped ANTI by surprise, with unique songs, excluding those 3 singles that we were expecting to be in ANTI to surprise us! ANTI is a masterpiece! GENIUS!! #ANTI 🎈

Basically this is what I personally got from it. The scene with her in the tub and everyone watching her is symbolic of the world/media being all in her business and personal life all the time, so she feels exposed. The child represents her when she was little and how she was soo blinded by the dream of riches and fame (why the crown was covering her eyes) then she handed to "older Ri" because she's more mature and can handle it now. But she wore it angled because she's not perfect and still has a lot to learn. Her walking through the crowd is symbolic of the how the world is watching her every move (see how they copied her movements). Then she gets to the room w/ the sleeping children symbolizing a simpler time in her life and she is seen being comfortable in that moment.

AD2: she felt the music when she was a young girl?
AD3: she got into the music industry and they tailored her to be a star?
AD4: she felt powerful, like her music could be engraved in people?
AD5 :she felt scrutinized by the fans and media?
AD6: she was surrounded by bad boys (Chris Brown?)?
AD7: she struggled with the money business (her accountant?)? And the kid with the crown is her ambition to be queen?
AD8: she feels nostalgique about her childhood/former life, feels like going back to her roots?
Is it called anti diary because its looking back as opposed to a conventional diary where its written each day?

The story told through the videos show Rihanna going through an occult transformation as she rises in status in the music industry. Her journey begins as an innocent, white-clad girl. Lured in by the elite’s crown, Rihanna is sucked into the music industry’s machine, complete with high-tech studios that emit supernatural power. After her initiation into the industry and now dressed in all black, Rihanna performs a blood sacrifice and tastes super-stardom.
She then enters the offices of the higher-ups of the occult elite and is given the crown making her “royalty” in the industry. When she goes back to her original room, things are different. The innocence is gone. Rihanna is a star, but her true self is gone. She is now a product of the music industry. (taken from vigilant citizen)

Interpretation of ANTI diaRy R1: Rihanna is in a bedroom like hers in Barbados and is innocent and not exposed to the recording world yet. Then with the release of Pon De Replay, Rihanna was brought into the media world, nervous, but willing to do it to be famous. R2: This is an odd video because it is perhaps the most disturbing one yet it was for a pretty innocent album, A Girl Like Me. This is perhaps because this album came out when Rihanna was really scared and just starting to realize she was famous. The large room represents the large intimidating world of Hollywood. R3: Rihanna is confident and ready to be a star as she's walking across the floor. The crowd represents the Paparazzi and when she enters the jello-like thing and her appearance changes it represents her going "Bad". R4: This video is the most disturbing of them all, which makes sense since Rated R is her creepiest, angriest album. The video likely represents her anger and the black liquid represents the change in music style. R5: The video is almost calm but still disturbing. This represents LOUD. She is naked in a crowd which represents her feeling like she has no privacy but her label makes her expose everything about herself to the public. LOUD is not really Rihanna, it was what her record label wanted her to be. R6: The Talk That Talk video represents her starting to take the musical path she wants, a balance between Rated R and LOUD. She steps up to the gallery which represents her confidence. Everyone is watching her like in R5 but she is no longer afraid. R7. Unapologetic represents her making a point to the world that she can do what she wants and gets all the money she wants to get back at them for making her life miserable and having no privacy. The money represents the song "Pour It Up" and her rebellious attitude and club tracks which were all to "make a point" that she was superior to the Paparazzi and can do what she wants. She finally realizes she has control which is when she is given the crown. R8: Anti is here! She has the crown and goes back to a room like the bedroom in R1 but the kids are sleeping. My theory is that this represents that she finally feels like she has control (she has her own label now) over the industry. The bedroom represents her feeling of independence like she had in R1, but the kids sleeping represents that she has no innocence anymore. This goes along with R8 being so different from her other albums, Rihanna is finally making the music she wants.
