Imagine being 21 and this is what comes out of your mouth when you sing.

she had her own phrasing. Like an Old Jazz lady, but her own unique irreplaceable phrasing. She was a genius, and i will forever be in love with her harmony and her phrasing. she was the human experience that was like Monk said: " A genius is the one who is most like himself" .

I especially love seeing Amy in her "Frank" years of her career like this, seeing her looking healthy and strong and full of will. I loved Amy, all of her work, but it saddens me to say you could see her fade in front of our eyes. I felt like she was going to get over her divorce and complete the circle and get back to being the strong fiery persona we fell in love with. Sadly she did not conquer her demons. We love her all the while no matter. She was a once in a generation talent.

I’m so glad we have all these videos of her and her music. Her art keeps her alive, eventhough she is physically not here anymore. It truly is amazing. ❤️❤️

She was a rare gem. she had that special quality that made her instantly stand out. when you hear her voice, you know she's passionate about what she's singing. there's no pretending or forcing herself to sound a certain way. it's all natural and comes from her heart. that's why her death is so tragic. a lot of gifted singers like this do seem to die an early death, and it's sad that she had a lot of potential and talent but was consumed by her addictions. I relate to her music. it's real and honest and that's why she will always be one of the best female artists to me

Amy Winehouse was a true artist. No current female pop-star in America could even begin to hold a candle to this woman... this is coming from an American. Greetings from Texas. RIP AMY😢

Today I was listening to this song that is no wonder one of my favorite songs from Amy Winehouse and then I noticed that time is passing by so fast. It's been almost 10 years since she passed. 10 years. How come? I remember I was driving back home after a classroom I was 20 years old and someone texted me something like: Did you watch the news? Amy Winehouse is dead. Immediately I checked if that news was true and unfortunately they were right. Dude, I cried the entire day like from that time it's like I had lost a member of my family. It's was so hard to me. People used to think she was crazy, but the truth is she was someone who needed help. She was so talented. What a lost we had. She is still my favorite singer.

A legend. A treasure. It still breaks my heart her last performance at Belgrade one month before her passing. Shame on her management team that let her perform in that state for MORE than 1 hour.
