yeah anyways, I started this thing like a year ago and gave up on it so now it's forever stuck like this, during the whole big animated bit and the last chorus was supposed to be different (it was supposed to have dice in it instead of the bros but eh)

I know that Brightgoat has moved on from this AU, but damn does it still hurt. And I know someone else is still running the casino cups account, but itās just not the same. I love the character dynamics with Mugman increasingly going more and more insane with the want to become immortal to gain knowledge, and convincing himself that his desire will help him make the world a better place, and Cuphead desiring material wealth and power as a way to cope with the loss of Elder Kettle and avoid deeper emotions that he feels. I also do wonder how the Devil sees Dice. Like I donāt doubt that he doesnāt love him, but what kind of love is it? As far as I know, Dice is still technically a mortal, just with demon abilities. Does the Devil just see him as a means to an end? Does he see him as a mortal heās fond of that will inevitably die at some point? And even the angels were starting to get involved as well! What was Gabriel planning on doing with Mugman? Would he and the Devil encounter each other at some point? What happened to Chalice? What happened to Cagney??? I still have so many questions regarding the story, and Iām really disappointed in seeing it be cancelled. But I still respect Brightās decision, and I do understand burnout more than anyone after the pandemic. Plus, the Frankenstein AU looks amazing, and Iām very interested in that as well. I guess what Iām trying to say is, thank you, Brightgoat, for this wonderful story you came up with from a wonderful game. Youāve been a huge inspiration to me to pursue art and start my own webcomic, and best of wishes to you.

Here I am after 3 years after the release sitting appreciating the author's titanic work. Wow. Speechless, really. I sometimes wonder HOW are people compatible of doing such amazing things. Also some details! Even though the Devil looked more sympathetic to Mug and KD (and I want to believe he was at least a little sincere since only with KD pupils showed), i got a feeling he was the most honest to Cup showing from the start his true intentions š Also, from all 3 only KD singed visibly, whereas Mug only pulled closer to sign and Cup didn't even move š¤ hm hm interesting!
