Was awaiting for the release, and saw it immediately upon its release today. Undoubtedly it was worth all the hype and wait! Loved each angle of the storyline presented by the narrative.
Diljit outshined himself yet again, is there anything that this man can't do? I don't think!
Pareeniti although was engulfed by Diljit's screen space and performance could still do a fair job of supporting Amarjyot's character.
AR Rahman leaves you mesmerized with his signature beats without losing the essence of the authentic Punjabi music.
Imtiyaz Ali, thankfully was back again with a well reasearched story.
All in all, 3.8 stars out of 5, the movie is a worthy of its kind and if you are a Diljit fan like me then definitely a must watch this weekend!

Chamkila is a musical masterpiece...the flamboyant style and acting of diljeet is icing on the cake..first time in my life I liked Parineeti as an actor...amazing direction of imtiaz Ali..the music is awesome and songs sung by diljeet is captivating ...last song mainu Vida karo by arjeet is too good....overall 5 star movie
