What is The Blues Brothers (1980) about?
Comedy icons John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd star in the outrageously funny musical comedy The Blues Brothers. After the release of Jake Blues (Belushi) from prison, he and brother Elwood (Aykroyd) take their blues band back on the road in an attempt to raise money for the orphanage where they were raised. I swear, Matt Murphy was up there with Paul Rudd in terms of being a dude who aged gracefully. He was 51 years old in this movie, 13 years older than Aretha Franklin, 12 years older than Steve Cropper and Donald Dunn. In fact, he was almost a full year older than Ray Charles.
