I had that same feeling of needless overcomplexity when it came to Remnant 2 to get the Archon Class. The things you have to do and the items you have to get for the class are so convoluted that if you do not look it up it would be impossible to figure out. You need to get 2 classes named Invader and Explorer. You get the Explorer class item by beating the end of the game and going to a vendor to buy the class. Then, get it to Lvl 5. Easy enough. For Invader though, you need to: -Roll a specific spawn location -Collect 3 items -Trade them for 1 item -Go through a portal -Sacrifice that item to a specific spot to get a weapon -Travel to a different location to use that weapon on another specific spot to get another item -Use that item to take you to a sub-level -Defeat the main enemy in the sub-level that drops the Invader class item (big red enemy) -Then take it back to a vendor to buy the Invader class -Get the class to Lvl 10 You also need to: -Buy a full armor set that only unlocks after you beat the game -Get a healing item that only spawns after 12-24 real world hours have passed after you have defeated a specific boss than only spans on a specific area roll -Get a weapon that can only be unlocked by wearing a specific ring (that you get after completing a specific area after interacting with specific npcs in a specific way) at a specific location -Get another weapon thats in a secret area -Get another weapon by beating a boss who drops the material needed to craft the weapon -Get an amulet than can only be unlock by doing 100 flops which can only be done when your armor weight is over 75 -Buy a certain ring from a vendor -Die 15 times to be able to buy another ring from a vendor -Go to an endgame area to find 2 other rings Then once you have all that equipped and the two class maxed out you need to go the secret area of an early game area and stand in front of a specific door. Then you walk in to the door as it takes you to another area and you have to run around to find the Archon Class item. Then take that item to a vendor to get the Archon Class. There is nothing in the game that tells you that this hyper specific combinations of items and classes are things you need to work toward. There is also nothing in the game that tells you the Archon class even exists. So unless you look it up it would be nearly impossible that you ever come across this class or even some of these items. The only way it was found was by dataminers. I love the game but stuff like this is definitely unneeded and stupidly complex for no reason.
