I bought Solar Fields thanks to YouTube. I recommend the artist to friends. These full album streams help others to discover less known artists. They also promote more known artists' work. Google/YouTube can stand as a leader of POSITIVE CHANGE by promoting an open society that is positive (I'm not saying to give out free downloads, but take charge for greater more conscious non-selfish change), or they can collapse to control and greed like many corporations. Album uploads like this are POSITIVE. They promote sales. The public is getting tired of "Inequality For All." In addition, mandatory advertisements are unnecessary and reflect greed. To Google: Treat people like human beings. In other words, treat others how you'd want to be treated. Imagine how beautiful the world CAN be if we focused on the positive and manifested that through what we create. Everything is connected after all.

Thanks to The Psychedelic Muse playlist, I have had the pleasure of discovering the works of Magnus Birgersson.
It all started when I listened repeatedly to his Random Friday album (2012). From there I have traveled backwards with his works Altered Second Movement 2010, Movements 2010, and Leaving home 2005. I am sure to catch all of Magnus’s work.
Magnus’s music grown from himself and his collection of studio equipment reminds me of the greats of electronic sound: (a short list) I.e.: Edgard Varese, Bernard Parmegiani, John Cage, Karljeins Stockhausen, Philip Glass, Brian Eno, and Steve Riech. It would take me too long to list the hundreds that have influenced the path of electronic sound into what it is today.
Magnus, Thank you for providing these ears with your ethereal sounds: playful, dramatic, and movingly brilliant.

First I had his first album Reflective Frequencies, then Blue Moon Station, and then this one. He got better with every new album he released, even if the first one was already excellent.
I love every song on Leaving Home, but I always put the song Leaving Home on the 4th place of all 11 songs, and not as closing song. With that song I finally leave home and travel to a futuristic place somewhere in my imagination, then comes Star Fruit and the other 6 tracks. What a fantastic journey and it is hard to believe this album exists. We should be thankful for that.
