I can’t believe they didn’t point it out but one of my favorite touches on the Keyes was the fact that at the very start, you can look through on of the grates in the wall and see Keyes as the flood form but you don’t know it’s him yet.
That and the fact you literally spawn in the room next to him but have to traverse an entire level

I cannot express my appreciation for this upload, as silly as that sounds. Playing Halo and beating it on Legendary at my neighbor and best friend's house (1-3) are some of my fondest memories. I've listened to all the books 6+ times now, it's kind of a yearly thing. Hearing these guys poke fun at the masterpiece they created is a real treat.

The only issue with this is how short it is and how much they skip. You can hear the disappointment at certain parts when they realize how much was skipped, clearly they wanted to see certain parts and probably had some more insight on them.

I loved Bungie as a kid. I tried to read and watch everything they put out about Halo. I was fascinated by it and looked forward to consuming all the new details in OXM and other magazines about future sequels. Was genuinely interested in them down to the culture of the company. Seemed like a bunch of really cool dudes. Good days.
