Avril sounds SO good on this. I can see this fitting the "outtakes" of The Best Damn Thing, such as I Will Be, Alone, Keep Holding On and that I Won't Let You Go track. Something about it has the same kinda vibe.
Btw, I see references about her relationship with Mod Sun on this... "have we outgrown this city", "I don't get high off you anymore" and many others. So sad it came to this point, if the song is indeed about it.

Avril’s voice is legit one of the best and most versatile of all time. She kills it here—I love when she sings songs like this-its almost a haunting sound but in that way you can’t get it out of your head—gives me chills!
